Our sister organization, the Chaffee County Piano Club holds several piano parties throughout the year in Chaffee County, Colorado. A like-minded group of amateur pianists, and their supportive families and friends.
The Alpenglow Chamber Music Festival holds several concerts throughout the year in Summit County, Colorado, always including a pianist. Intimate soirées at a private residence, or larger events at a local venue.
The National Repertory Orchestra comes to the Riverwalk Center in Breckenridge, Colorado every summer for an 8-week season. For more than 50 years, the National Repertory Orchestra has played an important role in preparing young musicians for careers in the orchestra world. Most performances are orchestral, but there are always several piano concertos.
The Breckenridge Music Festival comes to the Riverwalk Center every summer. Their signature festival runs from about mid-July to mid-August and brings in a 45-piece resident orchestra of professional musicians. Most performances are orchestral, but there are always several piano concertos.
The Walden Chamber Music Society holds several concerts throughout the year in Chaffee County, Colorado. Buena Vista resident and Grammy-nominated pianist Jo Boatright directs the organization, after 25 years of successful programming in Dallas. Walden is now in its 14th Colorado season.
The Salida Steamplant Event Center hosts a huge variety of concerts, plays, film screenings and more, but they occasionally have solo piano concerts or other pianistic events. Check their calendar.
